Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the AgentCause platform. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.

1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Send spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or bulk messages without recipient consent
• Engage in illegal activities, including fraud, phishing, or identity theft
• Harass, threaten, or harm any individual or group
• Violate any applicable telecommunications regulations (e.g., TCPA, GDPR, PECR)
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or other harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or overload platform infrastructure
• Collect data about other users without their consent
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Scrape, mine, or extract data from the platform beyond normal API usage

2. AI Agent Usage Guidelines

When deploying AI voice agents through the Service, you must:

• Clearly disclose to call recipients that they are interacting with an AI agent where required by law
• Obtain all necessary consents before making outbound calls or recording conversations
• Comply with all applicable "do not call" registries and opt-out requests
• Not use AI agents to deceive, manipulate, or coerce recipients
• Not configure agents to make false representations of fact
• Ensure call content complies with all applicable laws in the recipient's jurisdiction

3. Rate Limit Expectations

The Service enforces rate limits to ensure fair access for all tenants. Your plan includes defined API request limits and concurrent call limits. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling. Persistent abuse of rate limits may result in account suspension. Contact support if your legitimate use case requires higher limits.

4. Consequences of Violation

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• Immediate suspension or termination of your account
• Removal of content that violates this policy
• Reporting to law enforcement where required by law
• Legal action to recover damages caused by the violation

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation of this AUP in our sole discretion.
